Best NHL game?

I remember playing NHL 99 and 2002 on the PC when I was younger. A lot of fun. Simple, straightforward gameplay. No fancy shit.

Thinking of purchasing a few of the old EA games from 10+ years ago. Which did you like the most?

Honestly not trying to be an ass, but the ones I had (in that era) were 98 and 2002 (the latter I am unsure of). Hundreds of hours of good clean fun with my good bud J~~~~~ while we should have instread been preparing for matriculation.

In my memory NHL 06 is 2002 with updated rosters. : )

I imagine SEGA’s NHL 2K3 has been ported to PC by now, so you might consider looking for that as well.

EA NHL 2001-2008

NHL Breakaway 98 on N64 was so bad, but brings back so many memories.

That beat will pop in my head at the most random times.
