thoughts on bjorkstrand contract coming up here? I think even a 1 year deal he goes to UFA so you have a chance to negotiate for term while still having RFA control and arbitration as a final fallback. He's 26 so why not go big and try and get him for 6 or 7 years at some nice manageable salary like 5 or 5.5 or something?

I do not have enough information at this time to provide an opinion.
Send him to the AHL and tell him: "This is your team now. You have three years to win a championship or at least seriously push for it".
