On the flip side of this chronic regret, Jake McCabe and Zach Bogosian are looking like a steady middle pairing (at the moment). If all holds true, Murray just needs to find someone to complement Ristolainen on the top-pairing, and the Sabres should be in an improved situation next year.

Of the three who scored Saturday - Eichel, Reinhart and Fasching - none are old enough to drink legally in the US.
