Redskins (who, to be clear, are not very good) are going to walk away with this division, and get a home playoff game. What a time to be alive!

Eagles fans, what's the scoop on Adams? What kinda work load do you think he'll see this week?

The Eagles made the playoffs despite going 4-6 in the first 10 games. Congrats I guess. Also hilarious that they basically made it because of a tie that happened earlier in the season. I didn't even know ties could still happen.

Wentz seems like one of those guys that might just get injured every fucking year. He might wind up having one hell of "what if" career.
Obviously I understand that hit was dirty, but he still finds himself injured damn near every year going back to college.

Maybe Wentz is truly fucked from the concussion and Is thinking about retiring. Because the pick makes no sense.

So as a Ravens fan, it was interesting to see the NFL do exactly what I predicted they would do back before the season started. I'm still confident they don't care if players start dropping dead from COVID as long as they keep to their schedule through hell or high water.

But with the way they handled CTE, no one should be surprised by this.

Yea, but don’t worry, the coaches wear masks (sometimes) and only one player from each team dies the coin toss. The strictest precautions are being taken.

If I'm any GM outside of Cleveland, I make the Browns eat every last cent of that Mayfield contract, because that self-inflicted stupidity severely handicapped their Cap. And that's one less team I need to compete against in free agency and such.

Watson earns himself six games - the same amount as a player caught putting away steroids. And, because of how his contract is structured, it will cost him approximately 345K. After, he earned his full salary last season, while playing exactly zero snaps.

I love when bureaucracy gets in the way of common sense. It makes things so much more interesting.

I'm genuinely curious how it will all play out in Cleveland. Does he play great and the city ultimately embrace him despite ... everything. Or does he become a pariah QB?

He got a pretty big ovation when he took the field at training camp. Of course, the kind of degenerates attending Browns training camp may not be a very representative sample.

Right, the real test will be in overall ticket sales (though I doubt they won't sell if they're winning games), and on a more personal level endorsements, etc. that you associate with a marquee franchise QB. Obviously, Vick never got back to where he had been with Atlanta on the latter front (but he also wasn't the QB he had been anymore).

I'm not an expert, but there's definitely some odd shit going on in that dude's life that makes you wonder. And, unlike Antonio Brown, I think we can rule CTE out.

I think most of society in general is on board with this take. I only know a few Cleveland sports fans and they’re uneasy with him at best.

As to the Eagles if they avoid any major injuries this here on out they have to be the favorite to win it all playing like this.

Eagles are having a great season. They will be underdogs against at the very least the Bills and Chiefs in a theoretical Super Bowl. You have to beat the schedule you're given, but the NFC is baaaad, and the Eagles have one good win (Vikings) and one okay win (Cowboys with their backup playing).

It feels good, as a Bills fan, to have to have a team this fun to watch for a change. But I won't lie - I'm more than a little annoyed by the Patriots past success. They just had so much going in their favor, between Brady, Belicheck, the AFC East being as bad as it was for as long as it was, the first-round bye structure... but I digress.

Hope to see the Eagles and Bills play one another this season, because it will mean they both made it to the big game.

Bills are an immensely entertaining team and I will be aggressively angry if someone robs us of a Bills-Chiefs playoff game.

Yea none of these games have been all that good, especially compared to last year. And we never got that Bills / Chiefs game the entire world wanted to see. Oh well go Birds!

KC/CIN was good last night, and I think the SF/PHI game would have been good if Purdy hadn't gotten injured. SF's defense did a good job on the Eagles, but clearly cracked under the pressure of realizing that they basically had to win the game on their own (truly bizarre game if you break it down into individual moments / segments -- what if, for example, Shanahan didn't completely drop the ball and challenged that 4th pass when it was pretty obvious Smith didn't think he caught it?).

Bills, ugh. They were a bit of a mess towards the end of the season, and Miller getting hurt really neutered their defense. That said, Cincy is really fucking good.

Hopefully things even out a bit here in terms of talent disparity. The NFC was such garbage beyond the Eagles/Niners and .... maybe ... Cowboys. I'm not a gambler in any event, but I wouldn't want to throw down much on this SB. Eagles are good, but still a bit of a blackbox given their schedule and easy playoff path.
